Fabrication and installation of structural steel components for a key bridge project.
Remote location with poor road access required careful logistics planning. All large components had to be transportable by standard flatbed truck and assembled using a mobile crane working from the road shoulder.
The steel girders were designed in 12-metre shop-welded sections with site-bolted splice connections. Our team coordinated transport permits and delivered components in a just-in-time sequence matching the site erection programme.
Steelwork erection was completed in eight weeks. The bridge opened to traffic ahead of the original programme target, recognised by the client as an outstanding project delivery.
